Job Opportunity: Secondary Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work in secondary schools in Sleaford, Lincolnshire.

Your role will involve supporting the class teacher in preparing and organizing engaging lessons for students, as well as working one-to-one and in small groups to help students develop their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Support students with their social and emotional development
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and maintain a safe learning environment

Requirements:

  • Enhanced child workforce DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Suitable references covering the last 2 years of employment
  • Experience working with primary school-aged children
  • Knowledge of primary education curriculum and teaching strategies
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
