We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Inclusive Learning Support Professional to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs, as well as a strong understanding of Autism and associated barriers to learning.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status, a strong understanding of Autism and associated barriers to learning, as well as the ability to develop language and communication skills in non-verbal children.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach the curriculum using a multi-sensory approach, preparing and reviewing class-based activities that lead to effective education.
  • To ensure the good behaviour, safety, and security of all children in care, promoting positive attitudes towards others and the environment.
  • To work effectively with classroom assistants, ensuring sensitivity and responsiveness to children's developing needs.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience in teaching children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Knowledge of Autism and associated barriers to learning
  • Ability to develop language and communication skills in non-verbal children

Estimated salary: £38,000 - £58,000 per annum.
