We are seeking a highly skilled Maths and English tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Academic Maths Tutor, you will work with primary or secondary children who may have SEN/ SEMH needs or are looked after (LAC). You will provide educational sessions face-to-face with children at their homes or a public space, such as a library or community centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 tuition in Maths and English to students of all ages, from Primary level to GCSE
  • Work closely with parents and carers to understand the child's needs and develop a tailored learning plan
  • Use a range of teaching resources and materials to engage and motivate students

Requirements:

  • QTS or Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification
  • SEN/ SEMH experience or willingness to learn and adapt
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
