Salary

We are currently recruiting for an Academic Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.

Job Description

The role will involve assisting the class teacher with classroom preparation, leading group work, and helping the class teacher with pupil observations. You will also be responsible for providing 1:1 support to students who require additional help.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
