Logistics Coordinator Position

The Role:
This position will support the transport team by performing administrative tasks within the department.
- Assist drivers with queries and manage the briefing and de-briefing process.
- Record discrepancies and report to relevant team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year's experience in an administration-based role.
- Strong PC skills, including intermediate Excel knowledge and web-based systems.
- Good communication skills, responding to enquiries via phone and email.
- Confident individual who can challenge when necessary.
- Reliable and flexible approach, with ability to work with various teams.
- Highly organized and self-sufficient, able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check drivers' understanding of using the phone app and Road Runner details.
- Ensure drivers understand required paperwork and receipts.
Debriefing Process:
- Verify that paperwork matches Road Runner details.
- Update Road Runner with times in and out.
- Enter correct trailer number, driver name, and unit into Road Runner.
- Have drivers scan PODs.
- Liaise with drivers and transport team regarding problems with returns and shortages.
