Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Coordinator Lead at Runwood Homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering meaningful, person-centred activity and occupation to all our residents.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead on and deliver high-quality meaningful activity for all residents, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to engage and participate.
  • Develop and implement strategies to stimulate excellent interaction and communication between staff and residents, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote and develop mealtimes as a highlight of the day, enhancing the overall dining experience for residents.
  • Establish and maintain excellent community links, fostering relationships with local organizations and services to benefit our residents.
  • Provide individual support, guidance, and investment in the development of staff, ensuring they have the confidence and skills to deliver high-quality activity and engagement to residents.

Requirements

  • A positive forward-thinking approach, with the ability to enthuse and guide others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different situations and individuals.
  • Care home experience is an advantage, as is any previous experience of providing activity or leading others.
  • Assertive yet flexible, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
