We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Coordinator Lead at Runwood Homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering meaningful, person-centred activity and occupation to all our residents.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead on and deliver high-quality meaningful activity for all residents, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to engage and participate.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure that people living with dementia have equal access to engagement and activity opportunities.
  • Stimulate excellent interaction and communication between staff and residents, fostering a positive and supportive community.
  • Promote and develop mealtimes as a highlight of the day, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Establish and maintain excellent community links, building relationships with local organizations and services.

Requirements

  • A positive forward-thinking approach, with the ability to enthuse and guide others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and residents.
  • Care home experience is an advantage, as is any previous experience of providing activity or leading others.
  • Assertiveness and flexibility are essential, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
