As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering meaningful activities and occupation to our residents, ensuring their dignity and self-esteem are enhanced through positive relationships and free expression of individuality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead on and deliver high-quality meaningful activities for all residents, including those living with dementia.
  • Ensure residents have equal opportunities for engagement and activity, promoting a sense of community and social interaction.
  • Stimulate excellent interaction and communication between staff and residents, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Promote and develop mealtimes as a highlight of the day, enhancing the overall dining experience.
  • Establish and maintain excellent community links, promoting partnerships and collaborations that benefit our residents.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a positive forward-thinking approach, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to enthuse and guide others. Previous experience in care or activity provision is an advantage, as is any experience of leading others. You will also need to be assertive, yet flexible, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
