Job Title: Electrical Product Design Engineer

Thompson Aero Seating Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Product Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electrical products for our customers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce 3D models of parts and assemblies using advanced CAD software.
  • Design and develop electrical harness routing and equipment layouts.
  • Produce 2D detail drawings of parts and 2D assembly drawings.
  • Release engineering drawings following company procedures.
  • Contribute to design solutions and work collaboratively with project teams.
Requirements:
  • 3rd level qualification in relevant Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong 3D CAD modelling skills and experience in a Design and/or Engineering related role.
  • Strong IT skills including MS office tools.
  • Desirable experience of sheetmetal, machined or plastic vacuum formed part design and manufacturing processes.
