">We are a two-partners General Medical Services GP training practice with extensive experience in delivering patient-centric, people-focused care to our diverse patient population. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our patients, and we are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our team.
">Job Summary:
">This part-time or semi-full-time position involves managing front-desk operations, handling patient queries, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for greeting patients, booking appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
">Main Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.">
- Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and amendments in accordance with practice procedures.">
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns efficiently and effectively.">
- Ensure accurate recording of requests for home visits and referrals to GPs as necessary.">
- Provide information on practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients.">
- Advise patients on relevant charges for private services and process payments.">
- Maintain organized and tidy reception and waiting areas.">
- Restock information leaflets as needed.">
- Answer incoming calls and direct them accordingly.">
- Undertake administration tasks as allocated by the Reception Supervisor/Practice Manager.">

">Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A strong commitment to customer service, personal presentation standards, and flexibility to work hours as determined by the business are essential.

- Experience in general practice reception/admin roles is preferred, but full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude.">

- Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team.">
- Fluent in English both verbally and written.">

Salary Estimate:
">We estimate that this role pays around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
