We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Porchlight. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support to our workforce, ensuring that we continue to make a positive impact on people's lives.

This role requires a strong understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and case law. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and people skills, as well as experience of working in a multifaceted role and managing conflicting priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees
  • Managing employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary procedures
  • Overseeing staff learning and development
  • Managing our HR software

Requirements:

  • CIPD qualification or experience working within a HR team
  • Well-developed understanding of HR practices and working knowledge of employment legislation and case law
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Experience of working in a multifaceted role and managing conflicting priorities
