We are seeking a highly skilled Land Referencer/Senior Land Referencer to join our team at Climate17. As a key member of our land team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on land projects, working closely with clients to understand their needs and delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Geo-reference and digitise features from CAD and paper plans into ArcGIS.
- Conduct desktop and contact referencing of affected parties.
- Manage, collect, interpret, and analyse land data.
- Input and maintain data within the land system.
- Verify and update relevant mapping layers.
- Produce clear and accurate legal documentation, including order plans, books of reference, notices, and schedules.
- Conduct site visits to conduct door-knocking exercises and post notices.
- Communicate effectively with members of the public.
- Attend client/stakeholder meetings.
- Relevant Bachelor's or master's degree in geography/planning.
- Relevant work experience (1 year), ideally in the production of books of reference, order plans, notices, and schedules.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to rural and urban locations.
- Competent GIS user (preferably ArcGIS) with experience in collecting, interpreting, and using land ownership data in various formats.
