About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Disposals Surveyor to join our Land Development Team at Tarmac. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for working on one of the largest land portfolios in the UK, developing your capabilities across various sectors including residential, commercial, natural capital, and leisure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the disposal of development land to housebuilders, developers, and individuals across the country.
  • Working closely with Development Managers to manage and develop the land and buildings property portfolio, pre and post operational use, to drive best value from Tarmac's real estate.
  • Liaising with external managing agents, land and property owners/developers, tenants, consultants, and Planning Authorities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Prior experience of valuation, property/asset management, and the property development and disposal process.
  • A good understanding of property and land law and legal processes, including contract construction and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to present to both internal and external parties.
  • Experience of liaising with stakeholders of varying seniority levels both internally and externally.
  • The ability to review complex documents and interpret the detail to provide senior members of the team with required advice.
