Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Housing Management Specialist to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for assisting vulnerable clients with general housing management issues, such as ASB queries, tenancy management, and income support.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role, have access to their own vehicle, and an enhanced DBS. Duties will include monitoring and managing rent accounts, ensuring arrears are addressed in line with organisation procedures, and establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist vulnerable clients with general housing management issues
  • Monitor and manage rent accounts
  • Establish and maintain relationships with individuals
  • Assess the support needs and risks of individuals
  • Work in partnership with external agencies to facilitate the effective delivery of support

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Access to own vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Knowledge of housing management policies and procedures

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9:00am until 5:00pm (with flexibility)
  • 37 hours per week
