Job Role

This role involves providing direct support to our Plymouth branch while offering remote assistance to our branches across the UK and Ireland. Your key responsibilities include testing, inspecting, surveying, and maintaining existing and new equipment to ensure its continuous fitness for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out surveys, installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs within predetermined time frames and in accordance with scheduled plans.
  2. Ensure accurate data entry into operational systems.
  3. Generate professional inspection reports within daily deadlines and service standards.
  4. Sustain technical excellence within business units to meet business objectives.
  5. Participate in workshop and assembly activities as needed.

Essential Requirements

  1. Extensive hands-on experience in maintenance, installation, service, or commissioning environments.
  2. Familiarity with commercial cranes, lifting devices, material handling equipment, excavators, and similar plant.
  3. Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, preferably with experience in excavators.
  4. A valid full driving license.
  5. Proficiency in computer systems and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Experience with electrical device installation and inspection – RCI's, 2D Grading systems.
