**Job Summary**

Workwell People Solutions Ltd is a leading provider of specialist funding and back-office support to the Recruitment Sector. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team, reporting to the Financial Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely processing of financial transactions, including purchase and sales ledgers, billing, and bank reconciliation for our group of companies.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Process daily bank and client account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage intercompany bank transactions and ensure timely processing of supplier invoices and payments.
  • Process monthly expenses and intercompany recharges, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage sales ledger, client correspondence, and debt chasing to ensure timely resolution of customer queries.
  • Prepare and process sales billing, both monthly and by-monthly, to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Manage and distribute financial documents within the team, ensuring standardization of format and logo.
  • Assist the Financial Manager and Financial Director with ad-hoc projects and requirements, as needed.

**Requirements**

  • Part Qualified or qualified AAT or qualified by experience.
  • Well-organized and able to use time wisely and efficiently.
  • Positive attitude and motivation to succeed as part of a growing organization.
  • Dependable and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to problem-solve and identify solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience with Sage Accounts, Sage online, and Xero preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel, pivot tables, lookups, and sumif (formulae) is an essential part of the role.
