Accounts Assistant Role

Workwell People Solutions Ltd is a dynamic group of companies providing specialist funding and back-office support to the Recruitment Sector, as part of the wider Workwell Group. Following a recent rebranding, and a period of acquisition and consolidation, there is an opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant to join the team, reporting to the Financial Manager.

This role is a key part of the Group's long-term development plan, with aspirations to continue on its growth trajectory.

The role will be based at the Wharfbank Mills office in Otley.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily bank and client account reconciliations.
  • Mirror intercompany bank transactions between companies.
  • Process monthly supplier invoices and supplier payment runs.
  • Process monthly expenses and intercompany recharges.
  • Manage the sales ledger, client correspondence, and debt chasing.
  • Generate sales bills monthly and by-monthly.
  • Distribute Freshdesk emails within the team.
  • Standardize document layouts with format and logo.
  • Support the Financial Controller and Financial Director with ad-hoc requirements.
