Product Owner - Agile Development

Pop Science is seeking a skilled Product Owner to join their team in Cambridge. As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in defining and prioritizing the product backlog, working closely with the VP of Product and the Development Team to ensure that the product meets customer needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of the product backlog, defining user stories and working closely with the VP of Product and the Development Team.
  • Communicate the product vision and requirements to the development team and ensure that they understand the requirements and are developing software that meets the stakeholder's needs and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with the VP of Product and other key stakeholders to define and decompose high-level requirements into appropriate Epics, Features, and User Stories for development.
  • Support the definition and prioritization of the product backlog and review UX/UI design concepts and designs.
  • Work with software developers and software testers to ensure that the vision and goal of the features and user stories are well understood.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Epics, Features, and User Story development.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work closely with the VP of Product and the Development Team to ensure that the product meets customer needs and business objectives.
