Domestic Abuse Specialist Lead

Potter Johnson is seeking a skilled Domestic Abuse Specialist Lead to join our team. This role involves providing support and guidance to our staff and service users who are experiencing domestic abuse.
You will work closely with key partners, including homelessness teams, local authorities and housing associations, to provide safe and appropriate accommodation which meets the needs of our service users.
The successful candidate will have over 12 months experience in a similar role and a good understanding of conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse.
You will also have knowledge of implementing safety and support plans, assessing the needs and safety of women at risk, and providing crisis intervention support.
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the development and implementation of safety and support plans for survivors experiencing domestic abuse.
- Provide training and support to staff on domestic abuse awareness and response.
Requirements:
- Over 12 months experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse.
