Job Title: Front Office Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front office department at The Royal Marine Hotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the front office team to deliver outstanding levels of service to guests
  • Direct and work with managers and team to successfully execute all front office operations, including guest arrival and departure procedures
  • Establish and implement standards to ensure all services offered are of the highest quality
  • Identify and analyze operational challenges and facilitate the development of solutions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Liaise with the accommodation and maintenance department daily to ensure that potential issues are dealt with in a controlled manner
  • Develop and sustain productive customer relationships; actively seeking information to understand and address customers' needs
  • Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met through forward planning
  • Ensure compliance in relation to Health & Safety and statutory requirements
  • Display leadership in guest hospitality, exemplify excellent customer service and create a positive atmosphere for guest relations
  • Maintain a strong visible presence in the department
  • Ability to recruit, train, develop and retain team members
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Irish market in a similar position within a 4* property
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to motivate self and team
  • Strong, professional communication skills are essential, both oral and written
  • Previous experience in a high-volume property in Ireland
  • Fully competent in the property management system, HOTSOFT or similar PMS
  • The ability to work under pressure, on their own initiative and have a passion for the hospitality business
