Job Summary

This is a technical role within the Design and Development team at House of CB. The successful candidate will be responsible for the digital technical development of various garments, including knitwear, working on tech packs, CADs and amendments from the initial sketch to the delivery of the first sample.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with designers to produce technical packs that meet the brand's quality standards.
Create accurate technical drawings and artworks using Illustrator.
Decide on suitable finishes and construction, and source hardware accordingly.
Collect relevant information from team members and collate into technical packs in Illustrator.
Communicate effectively with RTW and knitwear departments to ensure garment details are correct.
Understand and communicate garment construction and pattern cutting to create accurate tech packs for in-house and offshore sampling teams.
Improve the quality of garments to a higher level, with a focus on luxury garments through construction and materials.
Work with the in-house computer system to liaise with offshore factories on technical specs.
Amend technical packs, BOMs and range overviews to keep designs up to date and accurate.
Measure and prepare garments, and assist in fits.
General admin tasks, including range plans and sample tracking.

Requirements

At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar or complementary role.
Experience in knitwear or an interest to learn.
Proficient in Illustrator and Excel.
Confident in garment construction and pattern cutting techniques.
Good fabric and yarn knowledge.
Comfortable working to a strict schedule.
Confident in measurements and proportions.
