About Powys County Council

We are seeking a Child Development Assistant to join our team in the Pre-School Setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, reviewing and delivering high-quality play-based experiences.
  • Contribute to providing a warm and welcoming environment for children and supporting their care, welfare, and development.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of GCSE C grade or above in literacy.
  • Either have achieved or be working towards NVQ Level 3 in a child-related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • The ability to relate well to children and adults.

Salary:£20,000 - £25,000 per annum
