We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Newtown, working 12 hours per week, plus overtime when needed.

About the Role:


As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an excellent shopping experience for customers, reviewing sales performance, and implementing measures to drive sales.


You will also be responsible for recruiting, managing, and motivating staff to achieve store objectives, ensuring all company standards are implemented and maintained, and promoting the health and safety of the store and colleagues.


Key Responsibilities:


• Delivering exceptional customer service and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction


• Managing and maintaining accurate records of sales, stock, and personnel


• Developing and implementing plans to improve sales performance and increase profitability


• Leading and motivating a team of retail staff to achieve store objectives


• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies


Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:


• Previous experience of working in a retail environment, preferably in a senior role


• Excellent communication and leadership skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Basic mathematical skills and ability to manage cash handling duties


What We Offer:


In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career progression.
