Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team at Base Materials. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly targets, focusing on existing customers and new business opportunities;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular calls, emails, and remote meetings;
  • Stay up-to-date with product information to provide expert advice and support to customers;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience;
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to drive sales growth;
  • Attend and contribute to meetings, providing insights and recommendations to inform business strategy;
Requirements
  • Proven internal sales experience of at least 3 years, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases;
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and ability to leverage data to inform sales strategies;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
