Highly Specialist Physio/Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist/occupational therapist to join our team as a Highly Specialist Physio/Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the therapy team within the Frailty SDEC and providing expert clinical leadership to the unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the therapy team and provide expert clinical leadership to the unit
- Develop and implement treatment programs for patients with complex needs
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Provide education and training to junior staff and students
- Contribute to the development of the unit and the Frailty service
- Registered Therapist with an active HCPC registration
- Evidence of CPD in the form of a detailed portfolio
- Leadership training and experience
- Relevant post-registration training/qualification in intermediate care
- Student mentorship experience
