About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Alternative Futures Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective occupational therapy services to a defined caseload of adults with mental health problems.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence, well-being, and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to measure progress and effectiveness.
  • Provide education and training to staff, families, and carers on occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of occupational therapy services.
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the Health Professions Council.
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Experience working with adults with mental health conditions in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
