Job Summary

  • Lead interventions in a rehabilitation/recovery setting
  • Work in a Multi-Disciplinary Team of OTs
  • Provide support to individuals with mental health conditions

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services to adults with mental health problems
  • Contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy Service
  • Provide leadership in designated projects for organizational growth and development

Requirements

  • Essential: Post qualification experience as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist
  • Desirable: Experience in research and audit, with a focus on evidence-based practice

Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Essential: Registered with the Health Professions Council, Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Desirable: Membership of a Professional Body, with a strong understanding of Occupational Therapy best practices

Skills and Abilities

  • Up-to-date knowledge of Occupational Therapy best practices and research
  • Proactive in implementing change and improving services
