Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Support Operations Specialist to join our team in Bristol, United Kingdom. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient operations while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and performance across the site.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in stock/inventory control and knowledge of Health and Safety regulations. You will be responsible for:

  • Safely handling the delivery and collection of goods from suppliers and customer sites.
  • Performing daily checks on equipment like overhead cranes and forklift trucks, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Supporting production by assisting with material movement, unloading shipments, and maintaining an organised workspace.
  • Carrying out grit blasting, coating, and painting to meet project specifications.
  • Actively contributing to Lean initiatives, including 5S, and ensuring waste is properly segregated and resources are used efficiently.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence.
  • Relevant experience within a related industry.
  • Experience in stock/inventory control.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • General computer skills.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
