Venn Group is seeking a skilled Employee Relations Advisor to join our client, an NHS organisation based in South West London, for a 3-4 month contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on Trust policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and supporting managers in their decision-making processes.
The role involves a range of duties, including:
- Interpreting and advising on Trust policies to ensure compliance and providing general HR advice to all Trust staff.
- Leading HR roles on Flexible Working applications and appeals, supporting managers to review the impacts of flexible working on both the individual and the service.
- Running reports on flexible working requests and identifying areas for improvement, contacting senior leads to discuss reasons behind the data.
- Producing and distributing packs for formal sickness and Flexible working Hearings in a timely manner.
- Supporting with taking and transcribing notes / minutes of formal Employee Relations Meetings and Hearings.
- Providing advice on Agenda for Change terms and conditions of service and Trust employment policies and procedures.
- Assisting in delivering training sessions for Managers on HR policies, including Managing Sickness Absence and Performance Management.
- Providing one-to-one support to managers on procedures and policies.
The ideal candidate will have NHS experience, although Public Sector experience will also be considered.
The pay rate for this role is £20 - £23.53 PAYE per hour, and the successful candidate will be required to work 5 days per week on-site.
