Morgan Law is seeking a highly experienced Head of Strategic Procurement to lead our procurement team and drive value for money in our supply chain. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a procurement strategy that aligns with our corporate and community strategy objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a procurement strategy that contributes to our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments and aspirations.
- Lead a team of procurement professionals to ensure a cohesive and strategic focus across all spending categories and departments.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the best use of available resources and achieve value for money.
- Develop and implement contract law and UK procurement regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a collaborative approach to procurement and drive business growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading teams and developing procurement strategies.
- Extensive knowledge of public sector procurement, contract law and UK procurement regulations.
- Ability to develop and implement complex procurement plans and manage large-scale procurements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
