Nursing Opportunities in Ayrshire

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at a low secure hospital in Ayr, Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and/or personality disorders.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and promote recovery.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £35,857 - £41,578 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a £3,000 Welcome Bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to patients with mental illness and/or personality disorders
  • Develop therapeutic relationships to optimize patient engagement
  • Follow all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
  • Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • At a more senior level, lead shifts as well as mentor and support student nurses and other members of the team

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £35,857 - £41,578 per annum, depending on experience
