Job Title: Event Coordinator


Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of various events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and social events. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that every aspect of the event is flawless, from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assisting in the planning and execution of weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings
  • Collaborating with the Wedding & Events Manager to ensure all details are covered
  • Responding to enquiries and converting them into sales
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Contributing to the growth of the business by identifying and pursuing new business prospects
  • Conducting detailed planning and preparation for all events
  • Working onsite to ensure the smooth running of events
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients throughout the event planning process
  • Managing event budgets and negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions

Requirements:



  • Previous experience in organising and planning events, with a focus on weddings and corporate events
  • Strong sales, coordination, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A friendly and outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
  • Experience in developing new and existing business prospects
  • Proficient in time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of event planning software and tools is an asset
