Sociology Education Lead

Wayman Learning Trust invites applications from highly motivated and experienced Sociology teachers to join our faculty at our esteemed school in Richmond. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering engaging and informative Sociology lessons across all year groups, aligning with the National Curriculum.

About the Opportunity:

  • The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Sociology or a closely related discipline.
  • A strong passion for Sociology, combined with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management, is necessary for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and informative Sociology lessons across all year groups.
  • Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond).
  • Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of learning.
