About the Opportunity:



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Leader to join our progressive school in Richmond, Southwest London. As a passionate advocate for student success, you will play a key role in shaping the educational journey of our Year 6 students.

Responsibilities:




  • Provide pastoral care and support to children as they transition into Key Stage 2
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum, focusing on individual learning targets and promoting academic excellence
  • Cultivate a conducive learning environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration
  • Monitor progress and report back to parents as necessary


Requirements:




  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues
