Laboratory Operations Coordinator Job Description

EvoTEC is currently recruiting for a skilled Laboratory Operations Coordinator to oversee the management of internal engineers and external contractors. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratories and other facilities.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, with typical working hours between 0745 and 1645.
  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in facility management, preferably gained in a laboratory or GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service Delivery: Oversee the management of internal engineers and external contractors to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and utility supply for multiple buildings.
  2. KPI Development: Develop monthly KPIs and metrics to monitor performance of both internal and external resources, ensuring reliable and cost-effective supply of site services.
  3. Maintenance Contract Management: Manage a wide range of maintenance contracts, ensuring services are fit for purpose and exploring opportunities to integrate contracts with other business areas.
  4. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Oversee the PPM regime, ensuring all FM services (hard and soft) fulfill lease obligations and ensure statutory and EHS compliance.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the Projects Manager to deliver growth, compliance, and sustainability-related projects.
