Support Teacher for Children with SEND

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a highly regarded secondary school based in Wandsworth. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with teaching staff to facilitate the differentiation of tasks for students and supporting their learning experience.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to improving the lives of children with SEND. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching/childcare experience and work alongside an inclusive and helpful team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one support to pupils with SEND needs
- Facilitating group activities to promote social skills and independence
- Assisting teaching staff in the classroom to ensure a smooth learning environment
Salary Information:
This role offers a competitive salary of £105-£110 per day, paid on a full-time basis. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4pm, with an ASAP start expected.
