Primary Care Diet Specialist

We are recruiting a primary care diet specialist to work on the THRIVING Food Futures research hub, a unique collaboration between academics, policymakers, and the public.
As a primary care diet specialist, your main responsibility will be to develop and test algorithms that help identify healthy and sustainable food options. You will work closely with policymakers to ensure that your findings align with their judgments.
Key requirements for this role include:
- A PhD in population health or a related field
- Strong quantitative analysis skills
- Experience working on healthy and/or sustainable diet projects
You will be part of a dynamic team based in the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences. We offer flexible working arrangements, including remote work options.
This is a two-year fixed-term position funded by UK Research and Innovation, NIHR, EPSRC, MRC, and NERC. The salary range is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
