Job Overview:

The Cross, a Michelin Star restaurant in Kenilworth, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the entire Front of House (FOH) operation, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the ongoing success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef Patron and Restaurant Manager in overseeing the FOH operation, including managing a small team of staff.
  • Continuously drive and maintain the success of our well-established business, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve our operations and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering results and driving business growth.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including FOH management, inventory control, and staff supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
