About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our transport operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and respectful transportation of patients within the healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing exceptional patient care and attention throughout the transportation process
  • Maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times
  • Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless transportation operations
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients and colleagues alike
Requirements
  • A valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience
  • Maintain Enhanced DBS
  • Excellent communication skills, including IT ability
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst delivering genuine care
  • Demonstrate resilience
  • Able to work as part of a team effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail

Salary and Contract Details

This contract is paid at a blended rate of £12.37 per hour (Day, Night and Weekend Shifts). Annual Remuneration to start from £26,593.80, based on expected hours. This is to be discussed during the interview process. Shift pay enhancements are also available for some call-in or overtime shifts.
