About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our specialist multi-disciplinary team, providing holistic assessment and intervention to children and young people with gender incongruence and their families.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services, including assessment, treatment, and management of patients.

Main Job Responsibilities
  1. Deliver specialized Occupational Therapy services, including assessment, treatment, and management of children and young people with Gender Incongruence and co-occurring conditions.
  2. Contribute to the development, planning, and progression of service provision, working across traditional professional and organisational boundaries.
  3. Offer specialist advice and clinical education to other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
  4. Collaborate with the wider Paediatric Occupational Therapy Team as required.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with HCPC
  • Evidence of relevant post-graduate continuing professional development
  • Further training in a related area (e.g., sensory integration therapy, ACT)
  • Registration with RCOT
