We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our teams as Transformative Mental Health Specialists in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of adult community mental health services.

Main Responsibilities

As a Transformative Mental Health Specialist, you will work in an older adult community mental health service and develop knowledge and practice skills to employ wellbeing-focused psychologically informed interventions for serious mental health problems.

  • You will attend all elements of the training programme and progress successfully through assessments of competence and attainment.
  • Under supervision, you will develop and practice psychologically-informed interventions working directly with older adults in the community.
  • You will support collaborative care planning alongside other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree at 2:2 in any subject or evidence of ability to study successfully at academic Level 5.
  • Experience of interacting with the public and analysing and communicating complex information verbally and in writing.
  • Lived experience of mental health issues/difficulties.
  • The ability to receive, understand, and communicate confidential client information of a sensitive and often complex nature.

This role offers a competitive salary of £26,530 to £29,114 per annum (pro rata for part-time). As a valued member of our team, you will have access to comprehensive benefits including staff counselling services and a dedicated Health and Wellbeing team.
