About the Role

SHI International is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven ITAM Business Development Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new sales opportunities and building relationships with existing customers to promote our ITAM services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Actively promote the sale and adoption of all ITAM Services and tools to new and existing customers for SHI International.
  2. Provide sales support to the ITAM Solutions Consultants.
  3. Pursue and manage customer/prospect opportunities by working with the respective SHI sales representatives.
  4. Support ITAM marketing activities to help drive and promote ITAM offerings from SHI through proactive outbound calling, events, and campaigns as required.
  5. Collaborate with SHI's services departments to target service opportunities with ITAM/SAM components.
  6. Develop skills to present and demonstrate ITAM Service tools & ISVP Tools to Customers and SHI Sales teams.
Requirements
  1. University Degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. Commitment, attitude, and sales discipline.
  3. Have flair and entrepreneurship to build your own customer base.
  4. Possess a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn about new and emerging technology.

  1. Hunger and desire to connect with prospective customers.
  2. Ability to build rapport with potential customers and utilize your internal resources to help drive new sales opportunities.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Proficient mathematical skills with the ability to navigate complex pricing models.
  5. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  6. Excellent phone communication and cold calling skills.
  7. Ability to draft professional and clear email communications.
  8. Ability to pay attention to detail (works with accuracy and thoroughness when completing tasks).
  9. Possess organizational, multitasking skills, and problem-solving skills.
  10. Driven and self-motivated to hit both individual and team targets.
Additional Information

Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However, due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
