About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Supporter to join our team at Whitley Court in Paignton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our customers, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front of house reception duties, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for customers and visitors.
  • Develop and lead innovative and varied individual and group activities, promoting customer engagement and participation.
  • Assist and encourage customers to access and maintain a level of integration into the wider community, promoting independence and social inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure a clean and comfortable environment is maintained, promoting a safe and healthy living space.
Requirements
  • Experience of developing and leading customer involvement activities, with a focus on promoting customer engagement and participation.
  • Previous experience working with a similar customer group is desirable, with a strong understanding of their needs and requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads, with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • NVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and development.
