About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills and take on a key role in the management of our ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and deputise for the Ward Manager to ensure the provision of excellent nursing care and effective management of staff and resources.
  • Carry out day-to-day management and coordination of the ward/department.
  • Ensure education and training opportunities for all staff, including pre and post-registration students and/or providing specialist knowledge.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) qualification.
  • Mentorship/Practice assessor experience.
  • Relevant specialist course or equivalent experience/competency.
  • Nurse in Charge experience.
  • Experience in competency development process for student nurses, HCA's and junior staff.
