Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to lead our team and provide high-quality care and early years learning experiences for children. This role offers a unique opportunity to progress to deputy manager roles and contribute to the nursery's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership to other nursery staff and deputise for the Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager in their absence.
- Ensure high standards of care and education are provided to children, upholding policies and procedures related to health and safety, child protection, and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate records, including database entries, registers, and documentation concerning health and safety and child protection.
- Liaise with parents/carers as appropriate and support the implementation and delivery of the EYFS framework.
- Participate in professional development and training, mentoring staff to ensure policies and values are understood and implemented.
- Minimum Level 3 qualified.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment, promoting a positive and supportive culture.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality care and education to children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- A supportive and collaborative work environment.

An estimated salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, will be discussed during the interview process.
