Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to lead our team and provide high-quality care and early years learning experiences for children. This role offers a unique opportunity to progress to deputy manager roles and contribute to the nursery's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to other nursery staff and deputise for the Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager in their absence.
  • Ensure high standards of care and education are provided to children, upholding policies and procedures related to health and safety, child protection, and confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate records, including database entries, registers, and documentation concerning health and safety and child protection.
  • Liaise with parents/carers as appropriate and support the implementation and delivery of the EYFS framework.
  • Participate in professional development and training, mentoring staff to ensure policies and values are understood and implemented.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualified.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, promoting a positive and supportive culture.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality care and education to children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.

Salary:

An estimated salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, will be discussed during the interview process.
