Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in supporting children with disabilities and looked after children.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the residential practitioner team and implementing care plans, conducting risk assessments, and devising support and health plans.

  • Salary: £30,151 per annum
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs.
  • Supporting children and young people's emotional, mental, and physical health needs.
  • Nurturing children's ambitions for their future and their learning.
  • Managing complex and challenging behaviour in an assertive, restorative, and sensitive manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a minimum NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care, as well as the QFC Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services Level 5.

Recent experience of working with young people or vulnerable adults who may have emotional or behavioural difficulties is also essential.
