Job Description

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Support Worker, you will be working with adults with Learning Disabilities, providing daily support and care to enable them to live independently. This is a rewarding role that requires a caring and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with personal care needs
  • Preparing food and supporting with mealtime
  • Manual handling and supporting with medication
  • Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the highest standard
  • Helping with household tasks and maintaining a clean and safe environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A knowledge of Learning Disabilities and complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks
