**Contract Type:** Long Term

Leader Education is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker to work at a school in Bradford specialising in supporting students aged 4-14 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Students in this school may have been permanently excluded from their past school and may present challenging behaviours. The ideal candidate will have experience working alongside children with SEMH needs.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Experience working with children or young people with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
  • A patient and nurturing approach to supporting students with diverse abilities and needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and other support staff.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

In return, we offer:
