Reception Operations Coordinator

A Reception Operations Coordinator at AWD online is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth hotel operations.
- Manage incoming reservation inquiries and work collaboratively with team members as needed.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as updating room statuses and submitting daily reports to Head Office.
- Assist guests upon arrival, register them, allocate rooms, and provide information about available facilities.
Main Accountabilities:
- Offer professional service to all guests and potential clients at the Front Desk.
- Process and dispatch End-of-Day reports to Head Office accurately and promptly.
- Notify the Shift-leader or Reception Manager of any discrepancies in the End-of-Day reports.
Essential Competencies:
- Familiarize yourself with hotel systems and technology.
- Maintain knowledge of all hotel facilities and services.
- Respond efficiently to internal and external phone calls at reception.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit checks for all in-house guests during each shift and inform the Reception Manager/Front of House manager of any concerns.
- Process reservation inquiries via phone, fax, and in-person in the absence of a Reservations Agent.
Work Schedule:
40-48 hours per week, including flexible shifts and rotation-based days off.
Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $55,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.-
