We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Clinical Oncology or Medical Virology or Medical Microbiology.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to undertake high-quality research within an outstanding academic and clinical environment. The successful candidate will be based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced researchers and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality research in Clinical Oncology or Medical Virology or Medical Microbiology
- Develop and implement research projects in collaboration with the research team
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications
- Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to translate research findings into clinical practice
- Supervise and mentor junior researchers and students
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field
- Full GMC registration
- A current National Training Number NTN/NTN(A) in Clinical Oncology or Medical Virology or Medical Microbiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- A salary of £39,260pa - £68,478 pa StR
- A salary of £43,923pa - £63,152 pa Nodal (ST3 and above)
